Louise has asked me to thank everyone on her behalf for spreading
the word about Ben her working sheepdog that was in the Landrover
that was stolen with the trailer, and for being so supportive.
She's just so happy to have Ben back home safe and sound. --

Great news that Ben is now back at home none the worse for his adventure.  It's inconvenient but you can replace a car and trailer.  I hope the perpetrators are caught.

So so pleased Ben is home.  Just talked to owner, he is none the worse for his trauma and she is delighted to have him home safely. Thank you the lady who took him home for the night and to the vet who matched him up on our website.

Just waiting for news - but local dogwarden in Lingfield has a dog that matches Ben's description.  Fingers crossed everyone.

The stolen landrover was spotted in Lingfield yesterday at 2.30in the afternoon.BBC surrey and sussex are going to do a piece about it so hopefull that should make people more aware

Have a bit more information from the neighbour - 2 men in burgundy car one got out ran up driveway jumped in Landy, they went down the road to Forest Row and people sat in pub saw them driving like maniacs up A22 towards East Grinstead. Police thought there was a traveller camp in Edenbridge and one in Crawley the most likely suspects.

I have just updated and added a poster for Ben to my lost and found border collies website Go to this link: http://lostandfoundbordercollies.weebly.com/lost-collies.html And then click on the download word below Ben’s entry - it is a word format poster.  Please download and put up everywhere (laminated if possible) .. Ben could end up dumped anywhere ..

Ben is now posted on alot of email groups, websites and I have plastered Facebook with his details.  I know Louise will be devastated.  Louise is the Shepherdess on Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, the vehicle was stolen when her assistant got out to lock the gate, someone jumped in and drove off with the landrover, trailer and of course Ben :( .  Hope he is found very soon indeed.
