Thanks for the update.  At least this lovely dog will be assured of a wonderful home one way or another.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry to keep everyone waiting, but this lovely boy is going through lots of 'ID checks' - i.e. all the girls who loved and looked after Jetsie are meeting him so they can be sure.  He is also due to see a vet who can hopefully check him over and look for 'Jetsie-isms'!  It's obviously not so easy with black labs, especially one who has been out for 2yrs.  If only he'd had a white tail!  Or of course, a chip.  He's settling in well and loves Linda, he's a very happy boy. xx  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I agree labradorloopy, I personally think, from looking at these photos, that this lovely guy could easily be a full Lab and not a cross. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, are we sure this is a lab cross and not pure breed but a working line not show? I just thought it mght be worth checking this so owners of pure breeds don't dismiss him. If not claimed I'm sure Labrador Retriever Rescue would be keen to help. He's lovely!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to the person who registered this dog and he is still not caught. He is staying in the area so have asked if she would mind putting food out for him to gain his confidence, with a view to using a trap eventually. I have E-mailed her some advise on setting up feeding stations which will help. Hopefully this lad will be safe soon xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This dog has been seen for about 10 days in the area not yet been caught, very nervous and not letting anybody close to it. I will try to find out more details.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
