Spoken to owner - this sighting of Bracken was last Monday 22nd March, a neighbour picked him up and took him back to his home but as owner was out looking for him the lady left put him down outside, he ran round the back and she thought he would be OK but he hasn't been seen since.  Advised on scenting and leaving clothing out.  He is not the sort of chap who goes underground, more of a digger than a tunneller.  Bracken has a series ear condition which requires tretment and medication everyday.  If he doesn't get it then he starts to scratch alot and wimper, if he has been picked up he's likely to end up a the vets so owner now getting posters to locak ones though advised to target ones further afield as well, Basingstoke, Liss, Petersfield etc.  Selborne is a major thoroughfare between the A3 and Alton and onto Basingstoke.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

AAAAhhhh - so so close - thank god he's still in the area.  Am trying to call you to run through scenting and other things you can do to keep him nearby, if you see this before I get I get through please call me. Also, drove through Selborne (twice) today and didn't see one poster.... PLEASE get them up.  Luckily this lady knew where you lived, the next person who sees him may not and you need people to at least have a contact number.  Number one poster should go in the newsagents and another opposite on the village hall notice board.  So hoping that think little minx is home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

had a sighting of him! lady who works in the local apple shop spotted him he was following her though the aspargus feilds then she turned and picked him up and he was licking her and waggling his tail (far too friendly dog) she came to my house and at the time i was out looking for him so she put him down by the drive and he ran off again! Great Michelle now get those posters up.  I am driving through Selborne this afternoon and expect to see them everywhere!  Will also drive the back routes and have a look.  This is a vast rural area with miles of not a lot, might be an idea to let the Blackmoor Apple Shop know and ask them to put a poster up, lots of people go there and then drive back to Selborne through the lanes.  Also, apple tree guys will be out and about in the orchards so ask if they can be told too.  Also, Hartley Park Farm where the lavender growers are, I know a little bit out of the village but not too far across the fields.  Good luck, fingers firmly crossed you get some news soon, you have my number if you want a chat.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
