I always love your updates Greyhound gap - I feel myself trudging the fields and getting caught in the same barbed wire - so pleased that you have him back safe and that he is none the worse for his adventureLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We have got him! He ran into fields that go for miles and first sweep found nothing. Checked surrounding estates. Second sweep of fields we took and shook his food bowl with treats in. Asked his Mum if there were any out buildings knowing bedding down would be his priority and she told me there was a horse field. Headed up shaking the treats and low and behold he came wandering out of the horses shed. Managed to get himself gawd knows how the wrong side of five bar gates with barbed wire all at the top of them. Had to climb over and haul his ample backside back over it. Needless to say he hasnt got a mark but ive got two lots of rips in my jeans and barbed wire dink in my knee lol typical!
Thanks all once again for logging it so quick but happy to say that he didnt have the decency to pant and wondered in 5 hours later and finished his dinner!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
