Thanks for the photo karenjrad. I wondered where the page had gone as I'd posted earlier on it. Well done for looking after this lovely Lab.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

karenjrad, thanks for registering the details on DL and well done to you and everyone who is looking after her and also trying to find her family, she looks lovely.  Fingers crossed her owners are found but if not we are sure she will find a very loving family.  My previous GSD was called Jet.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry deleted the original post by mistake. Found wandering around Yarrow Valley Park, Coppull early Saturday morning, Kathy a Labrador owner looked around for owners but no sight.  Took to local vet not microchipped and no collar.  Took her to Labrador Rescue North West.  I collected her on Sunday as she was a little bit nervous being in kennels so she will stay with me till we can track her owners down.  Dog Wardens Chorley and Wigan notified, police stations chorley and wigan also.  Kathy postered Yarrow Valley Park and local spar in Coppull.  No-one has reported her missing. She does have a serious eye condition which has been looked at by my vet and has been refferred to an eye specialist hopefully later this week.  No one has still reported this little girl as lost still.  Kathy goes around the park everyday and checks in at the local spar no one heard anything. We are now thinking that she may have been dumped due to the eye condition and the possibility the owners due to the economic climate just couldn't afford the treatment. Glenys at Labrador Rescue has pledged the funds to get her well whatever it takes.  But as with all rescues money is tight, so we have come up with a "Pound for a Hound" appeal to help get this little girl the treatment she needs but still with the hope that her owners can be tracked down. My husband has named her Jet To follow her story: www.homealabrador.net  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
