Thanks liana for looking out for Akido greatly appreciated.  The found dog on the site you have mentioned is not him, Akido only went missing today and that one was put on the site on 22 Mar.  Jan x

Akido has gone missing from his home in Cuddington, Northwich, Cheshire - he got out of the house at sometime between 9am and 4pm this afternoon, the dog warden, RSPCA and the police have been notified. Anyone who has any information can also call Catherine on: 07939663786 or Friends Of Akitas on 07957339877.
Akido usually holds his tail up in a curl, but it may be down. He is a rescue dog and has only been with his family for 5 weeks. Details now updated, second photo added and grouped for DL poster.  Further Info/Advice and Scenting Instructions emailed to owner.  Fingers crossed we see him home soon.  Jan x

Jules30, sorry to see Akido is missing, I will try and contact you a.s.a.p.  Thanks for registering his details, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Great you have uploaded a photo.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  Posters can be printed once photo/s have been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in). How did he go missing? Contact DW’s, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).   He may end up in kennels dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.  Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW’s etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting   Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is  found soon.  Good luck.  Jan  x
