- what absolutely brilliant news!! thanks for the call earlier doglover to say little Jock has been found safe and well and is back home, just over the moon for him as must be his owners - well done to them for taking all our advice, it certainly paid off and also great that they would like to stay on as helpers (that's 2 in the last week!!) it would certainly be of assistance in the Bristol area. Stay safe now little guy, no more chasing those deer!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Yeah!! so very pleased, Welcome home Jock. Jock was found by some horse riders today after owner had dropped in some posters at stables, tangled up in a hedge, a little thinner and dirty but ok, and quite a distance from where he went missing And More great news Jock's owners would like to stay on as helpers in this area, Team Bristol is growing.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Tim thanks for lettings us know, also had a text from dinkydoodle and just spoken on the phone (thanks dinkydoodle). Chuffed to bit the posters worked and well done to everyone who helped get them out so quickly. Tim great to see you are going to stay on as a helper, who better than someone who has been there. Welcome home Jock lots of hugs and kisses. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks for all your help everyone!! We have been out with posters this morning. Emersons Green shops covered although only a couple of shops will display posters in windows. They all have some for the staff room and notice boards. Library and Village hall both have been done. Pucklechurch shops, bus stops and community centre done. Cycle path en-route to Jock's normal walk is done. Thanks again for your support guys! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I will be putting some posters up this afternoon and also taking to Kendalshire golf club and Bitterwell fishing lake I will take 1 to White Cat riding stables in Westerleigh tomorrow. Owner, please udate on here where you have covered so doglover and I can fill in the gaps. We will be available to poster tomorrow morning also. Just a thought if you can leave a gate open in your property to your garden or put Jock's bed (or a jumper/blanket that smells of home) in a porch or somewhere in case he comes back then he is more likely to stay there. Really hoping he's back home soon.x. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I searched for over an hour around 5pm tonight in the fields where Jock went missing, calling him but only saw the deer he'd chased yesterday. I spoke to a couple of dog walkers I know who were there and they are keeping an eye out. I've also informed Emersons Green vets and will email them a poster now a pic is on site. Owner, you need to poster like mad tomorrow, you need to be logged into the site and click on the +poster to be able to print them off. I suggest you ask all the shops (Sainsbury, Boots etc) if they will display a poster, the Mill House, (perhaps drop flyers into the houses behind the Mill House in case Jock comes home the way he went), the cyle path both ways, ask the owners of the 2 houses that are in the middle of the fields if they will keep a look out. Take posters to The Folly, Willy Wicket, Shell petrol station, Sainsbury distribution centre, the garden centres towards Westerleigh, put up posters in Pucklechurch and Siston. doglover and I can help with this over the w/e and searching if necessary. thank you doglover for sending owner scenting instructions. Owner, I know you have searched those fields extensively so you do need to poster far and wide as he may have travelled some distance. I hope you have good news soon, I am only round the corner from you and doglover and I will help in any way we can. I'm sure I'll think of something else later. Good Luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
