After having a very long chat with Smoky Joe and Isla's owner she has asked me to switch them over to Rainbow Bridge.
Although they were never found she feels sure that they were both shot by a farmer, this is so very sad but I have to respect the wishes of the owner x

looking for lurchers
There's a female lurcher on the Wood Green site (Cambs) that looks a little like Isla. Doesn't say how she got there. Worth a look? Be quick. She's been reserved! http://www.woodgreen.org.uk/pages/rehoming_dogs?details=110933&pane=1&claws=dog Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There has been no news of Isla or Smoky Joe. The owners have had adverts in local papers including the E.D.P. Norfolk police and dog wardens are now aware of them. Also the owners have had alerts put on local radio stations and radio stations covering several counties. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
