13.00 p.m.  Brilliant news it is Sam in the vet.  Spoke to owner earlier and passed on the emergency number to the vet as they only got an answer phone message on number they had, they got a reply on the emergency number and are picking him up this afternoon.   Family did not know Sam had broken the fence until a neighbour alerted them to it.  Hope he settles back home and gets chipped a.s.a.p.  Spoke to owner earlier and gave advice on places to also get him Neutered which they do want to get done.  They only rehomed him within the last two months.  Family would like to pass on their grateful thanks to DL and are so happy to have found him again.  Great to be moving him into the blue and a big welcome home Sam.  Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

10.20 a.m.  Thanks Shirley. Owner has tried the vets where he may be but they are not open.  With it being the Bank Holiday it could not be until tomorrow that they are open.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Little monkey. I do hope they get him chipped as soon as he is back. Also, collies need so much excercise, if he is not getting enough then maybe that is why he is taking himself off! I do hope he is back soon. Stay safe little one.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

20.35 p.m.  SAM HAS GONE MISSING AGAIN. Owner has just rang Sam has got out of the garden, he has broken the fence.  DW has been contacted and owner already has info/advice.   There is a possibility that he has been picked up and is in a local vet, owner cannot ring until 10.00 a.m. tomorrow.  Fingers crossed he is reunited as quick as before.  Good luck.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant news he has now been picked up by one of his owners, who has not arrived home yet as using public transport, I missed them by seconds as I was driving into Halewood RSPCA, seen them further up the road but it was too far to shout.  Just spoken to one of his owners I've stressed the importance of getting him chipped, they have not had him long.  Great to be moving another NW into the blue.  Welcome home Sam.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

12.10 p.m. Spoken to Halewood RSPCA a Border Collie was taken into the kennels late yesterday, not been booked in yet.  I've tried to contact owner, hopefully if I can finish work early I'll call into RSPCA to check him out and the other found BC which could be Nap on NPR.  Found BC on DL ID 22657.  Fingers crossed it is Sam and Nap they have.  Thanks Meru and Angelita.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
