Just checked with council and delighted to say that this lovely boy, Archie, has been reunited with his owners.  Can he please be moved to blue.  Carole

SDK Environmental Services (out of hours) have just collected this lovely boy from me.  He is chipped and owner/dog, called Archie,  is already known to them, having been picked up on more than one occasion!!!!  AW will try to contact owner but if no joy he will be held in Slough kennels overnight and if owner still not contactable will probably be taken to Battersea Old Windsor.  have given SDK a DogLost business card.  I will check next week to see if Archie has been reunited. The collector also had another dog in his van.  An approx 6-7 year old small female lurcher.  Light tan in colour I think, (it was dark) picked up from Nine Mile Ride in Wokingham.  Think Mandy Dorman will be notified on this one.

Jayne -Thanks for putting this on for me.  For some reason my phone is not taking photos!   Will keep trying!  Have just notice that this lovely friendly boy has two collars on.  A brown leather as well as the blue fabric collar.  As soon as the dog warden has collected him I will post further info. Keep your safe during this years celebrations and fireworks, take your dogs for a walk well before parties and fireworks begin.

Draw curtains and play music to mask sound of fireworks.

Try not to leave your pets on their own during fireworks.

Create a safe and secure "bunker" in a familiar place at home.

Invest in some Adaptil or a thundershirt if your pet gets stressed easily.

Be aware fireworks are not only let off when it's dark...
