Daisy is now HOME.  Very kind lady who was looking after her took her back to her happy family.  A big THANK YOU to her finder who did a sterling job trying to find her family and to the lady for looking after, well done.  Thanks also to everyone who has been looking out for her.  Lovely reunited photo received from her mum (thanks) and we can now move her into the blue.  Welcome home Daisy, lots of hugs and cuddles from everyone on DL.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Kath has spoken to the finder they have shown her a photo and Kath has confirmed it is Daisy.  As the finder could not keep Daisy with them due to already having a dog, a lady offered to look after her, they have been to the house and she is not at home at the moment.  Once it has been confirmed Kate has Daisy back home she can be moved to the blue.  Great she was found and was being looked after overnight.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This  photo is a the closest I can find at the moment to a SIMILAR DOG. Her coat is clipped shorter than this at present, particularly around her face and tail.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to Kath, they have contacted Leigh C&D.  I've passed on the out of hrs number for AW and Halewood RSPCA, also advised to try Cheshire Dog's Home.  Unfortunately photo/s are on a phone that is broken, similar one is being sort.  Further Advice/Info and Scenting Instructions emailed.  Scenting may not work as she has not got a good sense of smell.   Fingers crossed she is found soon.  Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Daisy was last seen in the garden at 3.30pm on sunday.  When the dogs were called in at 4.30 there was no sign of her. It is very unusual as she never leaves the garden. She is partially deaf and has an ear imbalance which makes her head move to one side when she stands still. She can sometimes snap if a stranger trys to pick her up but will have a lead put on and will come when called if she can see you. (she can hear but is unable to work out where the sound is coming from).  Have serached all the local fields and woods without luck and think maybe a walker has taken her thinking her lost.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
