Happy to report Twix is back HOME with his family. He was spotted by a lady trotting down Ormskirk Road and she managed take him into her home, he was looked after and even bathed. The kind lady contacted the West Lancs DW who contacted his grateful owner. They picked him up earlier today. He is very tired and has lost weight. Well done and thank you to everyone who helped in the search and a special thanks to his finder. Welcome home Twix and great to see you going into the Blue. Hugs and kisses. Jan x

18.00 p.m.  There have been SIGHTINGS today, helper posted on the DogLost North West Grp page.  Thank you to the helper.  The sightings are in Haskayne which is Lancashire L39 and appox 10-15 miles from owners home.  I've spoken to Twix's owner and gone through what to do if they see him, he may not recognise them and run away.  SCENTING INSTRUCTIONS emailed to owner and they are going to leave some of his bedding in the area.  Also mentioned about having a BBQ etc. IT IS IMPORTANT IF SIGHTED OWNERS ARE CONTACTED AND NO-ONE TRIES TO CATCH HIM. We do not want him to move away from this area as it is safe and away from busy road.  Fingers crossed we see him in the blue soon.  Thanks.  Jan x BUMPED DUE TO SIGHTINGS

00.20 a.m.  Various size posters and further advice/info emailed to family earlier. Spoken to family a couple of times.  Twix escaped when the front door was opened, there have been no reported sightings of him.  He is CHIPPED and Chip Co have been notified.  He is about the size of a medium sized border collie, smooth coated but has a bushy tail.  Family have visited Halewood RSPCA, I have advised to also contact Leigh Cats & Dogs Home in case he has gone out the boundary.  No posters have been put up yet but cards have been put in local shops.  Photo/s have been emailed I've grouped some together for poster.   Will do various size posters a.s.a.p.  Given advice of things to do and further/info advice will be emailed.  Details have been updated.  Once the posters start getting circulated fingers crossed family get the call they are waiting for.  Jan x

Checked with Halewood RSPCA in case he had been picked up, nothing matching his description is in the kennels.  Tried the contact number we have and person answered saying they do not have a dog.  Will check the registered details for the number.  Jan x
