There have been two possible sightings of Woody - the first in Manaccan, the second of a pair of dogs near Double Lodges, Trelowarren. Someone has lost a spaniel bitch in the area, and they may have teamed up. Woody's family has relatives in Manaccan, and he knows the whole area well, having walked it so often. He is known to have gone down badger setts, too, and there are many in this area. When Woody disappeared, he was chasing a rook, and running in the direction of Tretharup Farm. By the time his owner had got up there, the dog had vanished.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Please note that the second photo is a true depiction of Woody's colour. He is brown and white - not black and white, or a blue roan, as he seems to be in the first picture.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Woody is described as friendly with both people and other dogs, and very interested in anything and everything. He loves chasing rabbits and birds, and sniffing down badger holes. It is highly unusual for him to miss a meal. Woody may be trying to make his way back to Falmouth - please look out for him.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Woody was being taken for a walk in fields. He disappeared from the field opposite the local garage in Newtown, just around the corner from the pub. During the week Woody lives with his family in Falmouth, but at weekends he goes to another family member living in Newton, from where he disappeared.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
