- So sorry to hear this. Has anyone else heard of Highways Agency burying dogs. I thought there were restrictions on where you could bury animals. BBGLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- It is with sad regret to be moving Molly to Rainbow Bridge. Family found out today from the Highways Agency that she had been involved in a fatal RTA and they had buried her at the side of the road. She was reported to not be wearing a collar and was found within an hour of her going missing. This is not the news and outcome we like to see. Deepest thoughts are with her family at this awful time. Run free at the Bridge and sweet dreams little Molly, you will be sadly missed. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Spoken to Molly's owner, it is another family member who has registered her on DL. Family have not had any reported sightings of her. She got spooked while on a walk and ran off. Molly has recently been clipped and is long legged for a Yorkie. All the right places have been contacted and highways have been contacted as the area was not far from a motorway. Owner feels she may have been picked up, her collar does have a disc on with their phone number. Posters have been getting put up and door to door will be getting done from tomorrow. Farms in the area are also being contacted. Have advised to leave some clothing in case she is still in the area and returns. Explained what to do if they do see her. Fingers crossed the posters work and owners get the call they are waiting for. Jan x

- Becky sorry to see Molly is missing, we will do all we can to help you in your search. You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible. Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in). Contact DW’s, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo). Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone. If she is CHIPPED if not already contact the Chip Co to report her missing and check your details are up to date. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW’s etc and if you have started postering. You can leave a comment by selecting Add a comment just above Comments. Good luck and hope she is found soon. Good luck. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
