Jytte, likewise, thank you so much for letting us know about this young Akita lad. Well done for caring and taking the time and trouble to make sure that this little lost boy was safe. You must be feeling very pleased with yourselves and quite rightly so!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am phoning around to see if this dog went to holding kennels or not. Forgot to ask DW for his personal phone No so I could find out what happened to this dog. I will see what I can find out today - JytteLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

No, we were just walking our dogs when found. I hope he is chipped, so can be reunited. Very dark, except chest and feet and one leg, white tip on tail and small white patch on back of neck. JytteLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Found about 8.30am this morning, at approx 6f on racecourse ( Pontefract), followed us towards carpark, we asked around, told everyone, so we caught him and went to carpark and phoned Dog Warden, who collected him about 10.00am. The DW couldn't scan for a chip as he wasn't in his own van. Taken to Wakefield. Lovely dog, good condition, friendly, but started to cry just before DW came. He must belong to someone, whole park and fields have been covered to see if anyone had lost him. JytteLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
