- There is a female border collie x on the front page of the Bolton News tonight http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk that has been picked up on the A666 on Thursday night. Without a picture of Fly its difficult to know if this could be Fly.

- Thanks Shirley. Spoken to owner again today. He has put her in local papers and has been receiving phone calls but none have been Fly, one call was from Blackburn. Good that people are ringing. Posters will be getting put up from tomorrow. Owner feels she has been taken in and is still local. Fly had only been with her new owner for a few hours. When owner got home from picking her up she was fed and then let in the garden. There was a terrible storm, which has spooked her and she got out of the garden. She does not know the area. Once the posters get in the right places fingers crossed someone sees them and either has her or knows where she is and contact her owner. Will put details on DogLost North West Facebook group page. - Spoken to owner, he does not have Internet access, has contacted the right authorities and kennels for the area. Advised visitng in person to check she is not there and not to rely on phone calls alone. Owner does not have a photo of Fly and there is no-one he can ask to find one on the Internet, described as typical Border Collie. Posters have not been put up but they are getting done from Monday, I've offered to do some and post out, owner said a neighbour is helping with these. Have stressed the importance of posters being put up in case she has been picked up and not reported to the DW. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
