Just thought i would update on this boy, sadly i was unable to find his owners after doing everything i possibly could. But the good news is that i have found him a new home which he is now settled into. They are a lovely family who have owned a staffie before. His new name is " Trife ". need to move him into reunited but not sure how to do it ! X

Received letter from the council giving me permission to keep this boy until the owner is found. It states that I must keep him for 1 month, if the owner has not been found I can then find him his forever home. I would of been so worried not knowing what was going to happen to him but at least now if I can't find his owners I can find him a new owner. I have put up loads of posters but still nothing. On the bright side he is doing really well, a real live wire !! Please can people spread the word I am still sure someone must be missing him XXLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photo cropped to bring him closer and reloaded, original photo now in bottom box. You can also get a bigger view by selecting View Poster the left underneath bottom photo. Well done for taking the time to look after him. Have you tried putting him in any free local papers? Fingers crossed his family are found soon. Jan x

He is gorgeous, so it seems strange his owners aren't looking for him!? And from the picture he looks like he's been well looked after! I really hope you find his owners - good luck. We have had a possible sighting of my dog (22597) on a travellers site, so the council are going there tomorrow morning to scan him and see if it's him! - keeping my fingers crossed it is him! xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have been emailed to check if this is my dog... The picture isn't very good here, but he looks slightly blue - would you say he is blue? Does he have a white toe on his back right leg? ThanksLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Jane for clarifying that, and changing the details to say Staffy. Photos can be emailed to admin@doglost.co.uk or sent to me yasa02@live.co.uk but please send with ID number on this page. It will be great to get a couple of decent pics on here. Thanks. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jane you are a star, Thank you so much. Is he definitely a cross, or could he be a pure breed Staffy? also any chance of a couple of photos to show his shape and markings please? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
