Fudge's owner, Sheila, is so grateful to all local people who helped poster and spread the word. Fudge ran off into the woods with his girlfriend, Evie (also a terrier) on a walk quite near home, on Thursday afternoon. Evie came back quite quickly, but no sign of Fudge all over the weekend until Monday afternoon at about 2.00pm when a little whimpering noise was heard and Fudge appeared at the cottage gate very skinny and smothered in mud. Clearly he had been underground for four days and nights and probably only got out after he had lost so much weight. I spoke to a very relieved and exhausted Sheila last night, who was off to bed for an early night with all her four dogs, who are all very happy to be together again. Thank you everyone who helped out and do take down any posters you see in the woods. Have taken down Forest Green, Coldharbour and Westcott posters today. Px Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Still no news on poor little Fudge. Dogwarden, vets, police all aware. Posters up in surrounding areas (Wotton, Westcott, Coldharbour, Forest Green, Friday Street). More posters being put up all over Abinger Common. Local Surrey Wildlife Warden who works in the woods is aware and has a poster. Owner very worried that he may have been taken as suspicious looking white van seen in area just before he disappeared. We keep on postering and looking . . . . Owner terribly worried.
