Thank you for all the help doglost helpers gave to get CJ back from his dognapper, it was a harrowing 24 hrs, CJ is a bit listless - but vet says he's ok, the police did come through in the end! best wishesLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks, Majorjet. I have spoken to CJ's family today, and they are distributing the posters, and hoping to view CCTV footage from Tesco's garage. Appeals have gone out again on Pirate fm.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Modified A4 DL poster emailed to ZZ late last night and Co-ordinator's ESSJ and Reynard, also helper Jules. Details updated to include CJ's age. If anyone can help spreading the word and requires a poster please let us know. Fingers crossed we see lovely CJ back home with his family and in the blue soon. Good luck. The petrol station faces the front of the shop- perhaps he has been caught on one of their cctv cameras instead? All traffic in and out of Tesco has to pass the petrol station in one way or another- even pedestrians so hopefully he might be spotted on one of them perhapsLast edited: 2010-04-17 23:26:04 by ESSJ - Area Co-ordinator Rutland

CJ has been added to Facebook group 'Please look out for these missing dogs in Cornwall' and 260+ members messaged. Also Network Cornwall members sent email going to 2250 people. Both messages asking if anyone was at Tescos at this time and saw anyone with a similar dog. Waiting for photo to add to Facebook. So hope he's back home soon xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to CJ's owner, and emailed advice. It looks very much as if CJ was stolen from outside Tesco's, where he was tied up. Tesco very kindly played the tape from the camera, but unfortunately the camera was trained from the door to the cash machines, and over part of the car park, but there was no sign of CJ, so he must have been walked away from the carpark to the road side of Tesco's.
