TIPPI has been caught in the early hours of this morning after she was reported sighted not far from a feeding site we had set up. THANK YOU so much to all who were involved in sending and putting out posters and emails. So very much appreciated! We caught her in a dog trap and she was very excited to see us! Lots of tail wagging and kisses! We are delighted to have her safely back with us!

I have been in contact with the rescue that originally rehomed Tippi. They are desparately worried about her and have been out all weekend looking for her and putting posters up. She is 7 months old and had not been in her new home for very long - she is microchipped but slipped her collar so does not have a collar with tag on. I've emailed her poster to everyone that i know in the area - i'm also walking with a friend on the Crowborough side of the forest on Wednesday so, if she has not turned up, then will display some poster there as well. I have everything crossed that she turns up safe and well. Would it be possible for the mobile number of the rescue to be added to the poster please? Its 07887 800887. Many thanks.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I know that Tippie is from a rescue centre. I have crossposted the link to Facebook ( 'Doglost South East' ) and several email groups I am on .. hopefully that will mean more people on the look out - I have all fingers crossed that she is found safe and well very soon indeed. Stay safe. I have also posted details on website : http://lostandfoundbordercollies.weebly.com/lost-collies.html Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I’m sorry to hear that TIPPI is missing. ~~~~~~ Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres… give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. ~~~~~~ If your dog has a microchip then please let your company know and at the same time check that all details held and up to date.~~~~~~ You can only print posters when you are signed in. Get postering now….. ~~~~~~~ I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS & VERY OFTEN THE KEY FOR QUICK & SAFE RETURN ~ IF POSSIBLE PUT IN CLEAR PLASTIC POUCHES TO WITHSTAND BAD WEATHER ~~~~~~~~ Someone will try and make personal contact with you soon but should you require urgent help please phone admin who will pass on your details to your nearest available co-ordinator who is able to contact you.
