- Message from owner: Dear Dogs Lost. I lost my dog at the beginning of May while on a dog walk. I immediately began to try to cover every option of searching for him. I found your website (which had been suggested to me), also another dog missing website which I joined immediately. Almost straight away my co-ordiator (Helen) called me and asked for pictures and info so posters could be made to put up in my area. I had made posters which were rubbish, Dogs Losts posters were great they were brightly coloured and had things on them I would not have thought off. In the five weeks since my dog has been missing Helen has been of great comfort. Whereas I have heard nothing from the other dog website nor dog wardens in the area. I have had Helen ringing with the one (false) sighting of my dog and updating me as to what dog's lost were doing to still help look for my dog. Unfotunately on Sat a spaniel drew his owner's attention to something and in a tragic accident Rusty had hung himself off a gorse bush. I thank god was away for the night, and my husband had to go help a friend collect his completely hidden from view body . He was later cremated. I immediately text Helen as soon as I knew and she replied straight back. I now know he won't come back and I have now begin the grieving process that I had not been able to do while I just thought he had been stolen. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Dogs Lost and to Helen, who has been fantastic. I have made a small donation on your website which I know will not even cover the costs incurred with you help. I know mine did not have the ending I wanted but thank you so much for all your support and help. Whilst writing my only niggle was I did have alot of trouble with your website and when I tried to e mail my computer would not let my type in the spam catcher code, although I typed it in right and tried about 10 times with different numbers.

- Have spoken to the owner. Rusty went missing very close to home. Owner has notified the dog wardens and local vets. The owner's have been out searching in the area and putting posters up. I have advised to leave a way open for Rusty incase he returns on his own and to also contact vets and rescues further a field. I will send general information and contact numbers for vets and rescue centres in Norfolk. Photo will be with us shortly. Stay safe Rusty until you are found xxx
