Was this dog ever found? I found a male pomeranian yesterday in Hertfordshire, please see dog found page.
Couldn't find microchip but these can move around the body so worth checking

Great Yipsey - I know Nicola was going out with flyers and posters this weekend

I have just arrived home from work to find a flyer posted through my letter box. Excellent clear photographs of Twinkle. This is such a good idea..... it ensures everyone in the area knows about Twinkle. Keep up the good work! I will continue to poster in all the areas.

not sure if this is a long shot but there's 3 adult poms for sale only about half an hour away from you, not too much information given and no mention of KC registration, they're also very vague as to the dog's age which made me quite wary of the ad, thought it was worth a look!
yipsey
Posters now printed.... I will poster around later today. "Ewell Village Girls" are on the look out. We will contact West Ewell dog walkers to do the same.
PaulaK
Owner out postering again this morning - come on Twinks!!

nicole16162
Could he have been picked up & taken somewhere else. There is a Pom been found in Dorset on 11th May - try this link http://www.nationalpetregister.org/fp/3527.htm
PaulaK
sadly these latest sighting appear to be a serial escapologist that lives in that road who looks very like Twinks :(
DogLostAngus
bumped due to possible sightings
PaulaK
Possible sightings called in to Nicola this afternoon - a few people have seen a small dog which they originally thought was a small fox in a park off Westway New Malden/Merton. This dog has been seen a few times and is not with anyone - maybe Twinks moved to the area and escaped from house/garden?? Nicola going over at dusk and again at dawn arnmed with posters. Come on lad give yourself up!
Rhumba
I have just returned from plastering Hook Road Arena with Twinkle posters (I asked permission). There is a huge boot sale there tomorrow and people come from miles around so fingers crossed Twinkle someone will see your poster and have information so you can be reunited with your owner. I will remove them after the event of course.
Rhumba
I walk my dogs in all the areas you mention but with no luck. I have spoken to dog walkers but there are absolutely no sightings. He just cant have disappeared, someone must know something. It looks like a waiting game but I will keep searching.
Jan S
I wonder if we have become too concentrated on the Hookfield area and the Epsom Common side of Pound Lane, how positive was the sighting in Hookfield ? If he ran in the opposite direction he would have gone along the edge of the Longmead Estate, past the dump, Blenheim School and maybe got to the long park at the other end of the Longmead stretch, near Ewell East station. That goes right thru across Ewell Court to the other side near the Epsom & Ewell High School. My printer is completely useless at the moment and due to domestic difficulties I don't have much opportunity to get out postering anyway. But I do walk my dogs every day, often on Epsom Common, but I walked thru that open space yesterday and thought what a possibility that area could be. Maybe if owner can get some posters around there ? He'd have plenty of water and maybe a duck if he's quick. Around Ewell Court itself many people feed the ducks so there's always bread scattered about ? Just a thought.
Rhumba
Just come back from a long walk over Epsom Common but still no sign of Twinkle. Hope you are safe and well and someone is looking after you.QgGPnq
Jan S
Did a slow drive around 'the area' about 5am this morning, ever hopeful.
PaulaK
The area is plastered in posters and no calls have come in. Someone MUST know where Twinkle is ...
Rhumba
Still searching for you Twinkle. Where are you?
PaulaK
Got your message Jan thanks, will sort some flyers out for you in next couple of days.
Jan S
Don't know if you got my message Paula ? My husband is out of hospital now but I am even more restricted than before. If you can let me have some flyers I will give out some and spread them thru my family many of whom are in Epsom. My son will take them to the cricket club as well. Can you post them/leave them in the porch of mutual friend in Hookfield/leave in my porch. Leave a pile of them at the Groomers for me to collect....whatever suits, thanks.
PaulaK
Thanks Patti for your continued searching. We need a sighting. Where are you Twinks??
Rhumba
I have just returned from touring all the roads round where Twinkle was last seen. I took my sniffer dog and looked round the pond at the end of Hookfield and also round the back garden accessible to the road but nothing. Someone must have seen him. Hopefully tomorrow! Keep safe Twinkle.
DogLostAngus
I have called Rhumba and given her PaulaK 's contact information

Thanks both for your continued support. Nicola has had 10,000 leaflets printed so if anyone has time to do some letterbox drops please let me know - if you dont have my number ask Jayne at Doglost and she will pass it on to you
Jan S
Forgot to say that I noticed the Gypsies have moved on to the common, yesterday they had set up in the car park by the Church. That might be good news, I'm sure if they saw Twinkle they would be happy to claim the reward.
Jan S
Walked all over Epsom Common yesterday early morning, many of the posters have suffered quite a bit of rain damage but I'm sure if he's seen someone would be able to find a poster that's ok. Did my usual drive around the area last night, this time it was around midnight. Probably find neighbourhood watch have got my number plate, waiting for the knock on the door. Come on Twinkle we want you home.
Rhumba
I have scoured the area again this afternoon but, apart from lots of posters, no sight of Twinkle. I was hoping that, as it was wheelie bin day, he may come out to smell the food bins left out but it may be too early for him so will try again later. He will have access to water so it will be food that will force him to show himself. As dogs are creatures of habit - when were his feeding times as he may be more active then?
PaulaK
Thanks Jan and Rhumba. Had a call this afternoon about a dog in Rosebank but sadly it wasnt Twinkle. Must keep looking, he has to be somewhere.
Rhumba
I am wondering now whether he is holed up in one of the gardens in Hookfield that you can access from the road as there have been no sightings. Another dog I was looking for was found after 8 days in someone's back garden. I have searched several times and think he will make his move shortly as he must be hungry. I have friends in Hookfield and they are all looking out for him. WE WILL FIND HIM.
Jan S
Toured round again twice, late, then even later last night. Got very excited when we saw a small animal in the middle of the Green between Wheelers Lane and Hookfield. Very slowly approached from two sides and it scuttled off, sure it was a fox from the way it ran. You have done an amazing job with the posters.
PaulaK
Thanks Jan sharon57blue - thanks for that but we have already checked that one out and its not Twinkle sadly
sharon57blue
Male Pomeranian reported found National Pets Register, said to look like a fox, listed 11th May. Fingers crossed
Jan S
I walked all around this area and over the common this morning, must have just missed you Paula. I drove around Hookfield, Wheelers Lane etc after 11pm last night, only animal I saw was a ginger cat but no way could it have been mistaken for a dog. Also pottered my dogs round Court rec just before dusk. That would seem to be the route he took, from Pound Lane you go straight across the park and out the other side to Hookfield. I was hoping perhaps Twinkle might re-trace his steps. Everyone I spoke to knows about him and are looking out, very good piece in local paper as well, nobody could do more than you have Nicola. Paula if you can leave me some flyers when they are available I'll do my best to distribute, I can certainly give my son some to hand out at the cricket club anyway.
PaulaK
Just home for a cuppa, back out later - put more posters up around Wheelers lane, eastdene ave, hookfield, parklawn, churchside and then down to kiln lane. Spoke to some early dog walkers and most already knew about Twinkle. Others took details and will call if he is seen
PaulaK
Thanks everyone. Im off over there again in a minute. Nicola has ordered thousands of flyers which should arrive Wednesday so if anyone wants to help Thursday/Friday putting them through letterboxes please let us know
katia
I put a couple of posters the back gate school side, shall do some more for Ebbisham Rd & Castle Rd
Rhumba
I have friends who live a couple of houses away from No. 20 so I will ring them. I will also visit myself.
PaulaK
I think sighting was near 20 Hookfield - hoping to get over there myself later and early in the morning
Jan S
Sorry that I haven't been able to be more pro-active in this search, due to unexpected family illness. I am only minutes away from Hookfield as well and did drive around the area yesterday and walked my dogs on that section of the common. He can cross the bridge over the railway line there, so have you managed to poster the other side ? Large housing estate and Rosebery girls school.
Rhumba
I live 5 minutes away. Which part of Hookfield is he being seen as it is a very long road which doubles back on itself and it may be worth going and sitting it out but is it the common end or the west hill road end?
DogLostAngus
bumped due to sighting in Hookfield
Rhumba
I have just driven up and down Hookfield and not seen Twinkle. Tomorrow I will take my gang onto Epsom Common, just off Hookfield, to see if we can find him. I have a couple of springers with excellent noses. Stay safe little man. There are posters everywhere in Epsom so I am sure we will find him soon.
PaulaK
Twinkle spotted yesterday in Hookfield!

Nice to meet you yesterday Nicola, keep up the great work and your baby boy will be home soon I hope x I will get on with more emails today
Nicola Tappenden
Thank you. My partner is going out again tonight to put some a bit further out. I had my first lead today although they wasn't sure if it was a cat or Twinkle.... that was around Hookfiled. I am still very positive and feel like Twinks will be home soon. Keep spreading the word for me so my little baby can come home.
Jan S
Seen so many of your posters around today, you have done well. Be great if you could get some coverage in local papers. Too late for this week and hopefully won't be needed by next but may be a good idea to make contact now. Telling everyone I meet, loads of people have seen your posters and are looking out for him. If someone has taken him in I'm sure the reward will remind them that you can't just keep a dog you find.
PaulaK
I think the dog on missingpetregister is the same as one on found pages here which has a name and microchip and isnt Twinkle
PaulaK
Ive sent a message via nationalpetregister about the found dog
DogLostAngus

( no picture ) Its quite away from area Twinkle doglost 23317 missing but thought i would send just incase.?
PaulaK
Hi Nicola, local volunteers will do what ever they can to help. Posters are great - keep at it x Hopefully someone has just taken him in and will see a poster and contact you very soon
Nicola Tappenden
Hey, I am Twinkles Owner. Thank you for all of your support. I have put out over 300 posters today but it doesn't seem enough. I have enquired about Sniffer dogs to perform a search too so i will find out about this tomorrow hopefully. I would do ANYTHING to get my little baby back.
Jan S
I assume the Groomers will be prepared to provide stacks and stacks of posters. I am sure you have some outside the school opposite the Grooming place, and Blenheim School just a short walk away, lots of schools nearby to cover. Plaster the area with posters. Very busy fish and chip shop along from the groomers and takeaways at the other end of Longmead. Around West Ewell Station, the recycling place/amenity tip, just everywhere you possibly can. Hopefully if someone has taken him in the reward will encourage them to contact you.
Jan S
Thanks for the call Paula, this is only about five minutes from me. I'll go for a walkabout with my dogs shortly. I've sent details round to friends and family and will make sure all the neighbours know, also my nephew who is a local Policeman. I'm sure owners have spoken to the Vets in Court Rec and got lots of posters round the park. We do get lots of foxes around here and at first glimpse it could be easy to mistake him for one, particularly in half light. I hope he's found very soon.
