We though Buttons had been found yesterday when owner had a call to say that a similar poodle had been found and handed in, but unfortunately, it was not Buttons. This dog was old, was very matted and his teeth were bad. Does anyone know of a dog missing of this description in the Coatbridge area?

After talking to the owner of Buttons today, we feel that he has been picked up by someone now. Has anyone seen this wee dog? Has anyone seen someone with a wee poodle who did not have one before? Please help to look for Buttons.Last edited: 2010-06-17 18:25:00 by Sable - Regional Co-ordinator - Scotland

There have been no further sightings of Buttons since last Thursday. Either someone has managed to take him in, in which case they would have to be very clever, as Buttons will be frightened and nervous now, or he is still around and sightings of him have been less frequent due to him going into hiding. There are loads of places for him to hide, near allotments and parks.Thank goodness the weather has been good.

Buttons has been seen going around these last few days. Have given owners scenting advice. there is a big country park there and also allotments, so there are lots of places to hide. Come on Buttons.

There have been many sightings in Coatbridge right up to the allotments in Blairhill. Please look out for him of you are walking your dogs in the parks on Blairhill/Townhead Road. He was very scared when last seen so please do not run to try to catch him. Many thanks to all that are looking for him and for all calls reporting sightings.

There have been lots of sightings of Buttons due to the responses of the fliers and posters. Hope he can be found soon. He is very frightened and anxious now and looks disorientated.

Have called Buttons's owner and given advice, which has also been emailed. Will be uploading photo and sending fliers & poster as soon as I have photo.
