Thanks for the update Natalie, so pleased Ice is back HOME with you. Brilliant teamwork from the SW DL Team and Facebook members it was a brilliant result. A big THANK YOU to the kennels for uploading photo/s onto their website, great when kennels do this it has led to so many matches now. Supplying photo/s to DL is very important for missing and found dogs. Natalie hope your lovely boy is chipped soon and you should also consider getting him tattooed this is a visible identification in the ear. Look forward to seeing reunited photo/s, welcome home Ice, lots of hugs and kisses. Jan x

I cant thank all the co-ordinators at Doglost enough for your help in geting my baby home to me, I know that without that last push I would not have him sat here with me now! we have definately had a roller coster ride and I am glad that it is over now, Ice had a long journey as he was taken from my garden in Bournemouth, was then found roaming around a army base in Farnham, he was then taken to the council kennels in Fleet where he stayed for 7 days and was then taken to Binfield Rescue Centre to be re homed, but thanks to the quick thinking of Gina for spotting him on their website I am now reunited with my baby and I am not going to let hi out of my sight ever again, thank you all again for all of your help and support, and if you need any help in any other cases I would be more than happy to help you xxx

Today has been a great day - what a result with Ice - well spotted Rose & Gina and then a great effort by the facebooker to raise the money to get Ice out of the pound - please get this beautiful boy microchipped as soon as possible - its almost painless and normally under £20 to do - as long as you keep your details upto date it gives you added peace of mind

My fab helper in Bournemouth has been out and about to-day postering "~~~~~~~~The owner has put some posters up on lamp posts in the area. I looked on the map and decided to concentrate on the area to cover the land between Bearwood and Merley and some posters in the centre of Bearwood:- A kind Postman in Bearwood who said he would put up the poster in the office Pubs x3 Post office on Magna Road Co-op in centre of Bearwood Medical centre in centre of Bearwood Golf Course on Magna road, they have a lot of land there and a lot of people out on it all day Garden centres x2 on Magna road Chip and clip dog clipping on Magna road lawn mower seller out towards Longham. This is last point before river, at lease Ice should stay this side of the river. Petrol station on way back in from Longham, they are not sure if they are allowed to display one but took it anyway. Dog walkers (only found 2) There is a recycling place with tons of lorries and vans going through and being weighed, and they all have to go into the office. They are kindly putting a poster up in that office. A vets in Wimborne - as I bumped into my vet and he offered to take a poster and put it up. Merley butchers just incase Ice travels that far. The butchers is central and popular in that area. I can't believe how lovely and helpful people were." Last edited: 2010-05-28 20:42:44 by Reynard

Ther have still been sightings of Ice in the Bournemouth area, the most recent possible sighting was in the Bear Wood area. a very similar dog was seen on his own but ran off. Posters and letterbox drops have been doneand owner checks in with police and dog wardens regularly. It is possible that due to publicity Ice has been dumped thinking he would find his way home but, as he is dissorientated by all that has happened, he is not able to do this. If sighted please contact owners or police imediately.
