Hi there, I know it's a long shot because it's been so long since your loverly dog went missing, but I came across a golden retriever on Friday. Unfortunately I couldn't catch him/her and didn't get a close look. But he was very thin and was looking in bins for food. Only golden retriever I can find is lost in this area. I would be happy to give more info if you feel this is a possiblity. Please reply and I will contact you with more info if needed. X

A lady has tweeted a picture of a dog that has appeared at her friends house in Aylesbury. Shaggy coated male retriever. Not able to get close enough to check if has ear tattoo. If you are on twitter check out @MollyB100m It has been some time I know but it isn't a million miles away. Don't discount it on purely pictures. Recently seen a piece by a lady who lost her choc lab. She posted 2 pictures of the same dog (one she took and one the rescue kennels had taken) and you wouldn't say they were the same dog. Good luck x

I have printed copies of the poster and will hand them out at dog club tonight - have the owners notifed The Dogs Trust and RSPCA, I know they don't accept strays but I do know that people will very often phone them if they find a dog. Also contact the police and ask them to make a note. I think stray dogs get taken to Birmingham Dogs Home now.
