- Hi there I'm the animal welfare officer from Poole who is investigating and thanks for posting this dog, we have called him 'Jack' and he had his op yesterday and is doing well! We still have had no luck in finding the owner but the good news is that after his 8 days are up he will have a really nice home to go to!!

- I have spoken to the dog warden service , thank you again for puting this little chap on here. Nobody has come forward to claim him yet and we have not yet found a match with any known missing ones.

- An entire male, tri-coloured, wire haired Jack Russell Terrier was handed to a local veterinary practice in Poole, Dorset on Monday 24th May, he was involved in an RTA in Lower Blandford Road, Broadstone, Poole, Dorset and has a fracture to his radius/ulna on his right front leg. He has no id or microchip, is approximately aged between 2-4 yrs old , is in good condition and friendly with people. I have checked with Dorset Police and neighbouring authorities but no one has so far reported him missing. He will be in Council care until 1st June when his 8 days will be up and will then be up for re-homing. The JRT is currently under veterinary treatment and will shortly be having an operation to fix his fracture.
