- Very sadly we have to move little Suzy over to rainbow bridge. A railway worker told one of the owners friends that there had been a small dog found dead at the side of the tracks near to the area Suzi was last seen in. Despite making enquiries from railtrack the owners have not been able to get definite confirmation it was her and no information as to what happened to the body but they feel it must have been her are taking this news as closure. Rest in peace little Suzy xxxx

- having recently just found our JR dog, please can i pass on this advice, poster everywhere and i mean everywhere in a widening area with an up to date photo on. Talk to everybody you can, dog walkers, ask in local shops, pubs etc anywhere that people gather. word of mouth is the best way of finding your dog. Consider sending a poster to local schools and ask if they will make an announcement during assembly, go to local industrial estates and ask them to display posters, sandwich /pizza delivery don't rely on the local rescue centre to recognise your dog and contact you, go in person at least three times a week and check. i hopt this is of some help to you, we did all of the above and although our dog was found trapped after 12 days we were amazed at just how many people had heard about her and had searched for her. good luck, if you need any more help/advice just send a message

- Relatives of the owners will hopefully be sending in a photo to us.Suzie's owners have contacted the Wakefield dog warden and local stray kennels and have been putting up posters locally. They have recently moved home but their previous home was still in the same area and her old neighbours are looking out for her if she turns up at her last house. Although they have kept the same phone number from their last address I have advised her owners to contact the microchip company to advise them Suzi is missing and to notify them of their change of address. Suzie is extrememly attached to her male owner and if someone has found and taken her in she will be pineing for him. She has run off once before and was spotted after a few days hiding under some bushes. Hoping for some news of Suzie very soon ~ PamLast edited: 2010-06-14 11:52:24 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire
