- Fantastic news that Betsy is back home. I've heard it said that it is a characteristic of the Border Terrier, that their bark can be heard from a distance (from when they go to ground) - how true this is I don't know, but it certainly made all the difference for Betsy. Bet she enjoyed her sleep and supper. Welcome home.

- Great news. Well done to all those who helped to find this little girl. Welcome home Betsy xx

- What saved Betsy is that she is a little barker and that all the residents of the road knew about her being missing (although she doesn't live there but was just staying for a week end)so when they each in turn started to hear barking on different nights this week they all thought that it might be her. She might have wandered by the side of the rail track for a while and then come back where she had first disapeared no-one will know?? her paws were very soft so not much mileage done I think but she was covered in soot from the tracks.A lady neighbour actually crossed the track and went over a fence I understand in order to reach Betsy. She is the hero as it could have been very dangerous. I was waiting for a call from railtrack to help access Betsy but they never called back!Betsy is a lovely dog. She let me checked her over before the owner arrived back from out of town altough she had never met me. She was very thirsty and hungry but owner didn't think that she had lost much weight. She will be having a shampoo today. She was sooooo tired last night that the owner just left her to sleep. Lovely to have you back Betsy!

- Just spoke to MJ who has met Betsy this morning - Betsy is filthy dirty but appears well! She was brought back this morning by 2 young girls who had just found her. It appears that the barking heard by neighbours over the past couple of evenings was indeed Betsy trying to get back home. Welcome home!! Massive well done to MJ and her dog walking friends who have postered the area so well and spoken to all local residents xx

- I had a call last night from a neighbour saying they could hear barking near the railway line. MJ has spoken to them this morning and was looking into getting access to that part of the track when Jayne DL called me to say she has just had a call and that Betsy is back safe and well. MJ just confirming - hope its right x

- Welcome home Betsy. Do we have any details of how Betsy got home again?

- I have tried to speak to owner yesterday and left messages on mobile and land line but got no call back. I understand from Elaine that a local newspaper should run the story this week and that the owner was thinking of offering a reward. I was at a local car boot sale on Sunday and people asked about Betsy as they saw the posters on my car. I gave out a few to people living around Twickenham

- I dont have a printer just a laptop. My mums back weds + she knows a lot of dogs + owners. She runs the dog show on the green off Mereway + Meadway Rd. I have gaffa tape + plastic sleeves. Posters do work. I stick them on lamposts, dark green BT boxes...these are on most corners...low level but dogs like sniffing them. I do poster bus stops but the street cleanser comes once a week + will remove them. Contact the SNT Safer Neighbourhood Teams....Police Community Support Officers.....look up website...tap in postcodes + it will show local team. They are on daily patrols + very helpful. Maybe email poster to them at Hampton end as just in case.

- Any help would be welcome. Thanks! I am on site or around during the week but not at the week-end. I was unable to put more posters up yesterdy but gave a couple to a local charity Guardian Angels. If you are able to print posters and do some postering that would be great. Owner was going to try and get more posters but I have not heard from her.

- My car is covered in posters and some of my colleagues who drive through Twickenham also have posters on their cars. I gave one to the postman too. Then I ran out of posters. I spoke to P, the owner, and she was going to try and get more posters printed. Betsy had only been once before at the house in Grange rd so I suggested that owner leaves an item of her clothing by the house perhaps??

- Started postering today in Pope's Grove and Holly Close behind Grange Avenue and in Grange Avenue. Spoken to J the lady who was looking after Betsy when she fled from her garden and put a poster outside her house in the street. J told me that the Residents Association of the street had all been emailed. Two of our customers (we are professional dog walkers) who live in nearby streets had already been informed by other residents so the word is spreading well. I have left a poster with Medivet Twickenham and The Twickenham Vets on Hampton Rd

- Betsy is usually walked in Bushy Park so she might be making her way there. She actually lives in Hampton so might also be making her way there although she has only lived there for 3 months. She has never walked home from Twick but has walked from Twick to Bushy. Posters need to be in place at entrance of Bushy and at vets.Owner has put posters through people's doors and some shops in area have some too. Area needs to be flodded with posters. Will vets in TW2 and others get email alert???

- Yes I spoke to the owner tonight and she is desperatly worried about Betsy and missing her terribly. Betsy was staying with a friend who lives in Grange Avenue Twick, a quiet cul-de-sac slightly off Twickenham Green. She was seen disappearing through a small hole through the fence into next door neighbour's garden on Sunday morning. The friend went immediately looking for her in the neighbour's garden but could not find her. She involved residents of the street and searched for her to no avail.
