- Really delighted this girl is back with a lot of help from some clever young gents. Sounds like a typical Sheltie trying to hide. They really don't like being approached - it's always on their terms. Love Sylv xx

- This girl is home !! As soon as we got the news she was missing we drove over to help and joined in the search for her with the owners 2 daughters, a couple in a black car and two lovely young lads on bikes who were such a help wonderful help. There were several sightimgs of her running in a small triangular area from very near her home to about 200 yards away. She was dodging through garden to garden and ran straight past the owners daughter at one time. The sightimgs stopped and as darkness was setting in we were discussing about scenting and postering when a lady came out who said she had seen her whining and clawing at the front door of a nearby house. The owners were out but the lady said it would be okay if Neil went in the back garden to look for Lola and after some time he saw in the darkness what he thought was a fluffy cat hiding down the back of a shed. Then he realised it was Lola and was able to pick her up and bring her out to the owners delighted and very relieved daughter! Lola was returned home to her very happy Dad and was soon enjoying fusses from all of us ! Shelties Mum .......... you were spot on that she wouldnt have gone far and it seems she was trying to go back to where she went missing from but had decided the wrong house was hers !!!! So pleased we have a happy ending for this girl and once again thanks to all who helped. Welcome home Lola and please no more running off from your Dad while he is chatting ! xxx Pam Last edited: 2010-06-17 00:30:45 by Jumanji - Co-ordinator.South.Yorkshire

- I doubt this girl will have gone far. They do tend to come back to the spot they went missing from. Important to put a little food and water out and if it was my dog I scent the gate area and nearby pavement. Will ask Sheltie Lady to post on her forums Love Sylv xx
