- Owner was due to travel home to Scotland in the morning and thanks to 3 young girls she will be travelling back with Angus. He had travelled 5 miles to a neighbouring village when they spotted him running loose and recognised him from a poster. They called the owner who promptly drove to the village and managed to catch him. He was very smelly and tired but otherwise ok. Welcome home old fella.

- Have spoken at length to owners friend. Angus bolted out of the garden on Wednesday and headed out over a main road. He will be scared as he is only visiting the area. Have given advice on scenting etc. All dog wardens, Kennels and vets have been notified as have the microchip company. There is an ad going in the local paper and a couple of radio stations have been contacted. Posters and flyers have been put up around he area and all the local farmers have been notified. Photo is on it's way.

- Hi, I’m sorry to hear Angus is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
