- Hi. I saw your poster today when I was putting up a poster for my dog that I lost last night in Abertridwr (Sunday). As well as bus stops and the park where I saw Sabre's picture I asked local shopkeepers to put the poster up as well (Spar, Atwoods on Aber Square and the garage near Hendredenny). Tonight a lady phoned me to say a dog had turned up at her house - Groeswen farm near Nantgarw. She had put a post on Facebook about it and a friend of hers saw that on Facebook and had seen my poster in the Spar so she told the lady about my Buster. The lady got my number from the police and rang me. I picked him up in tears tonight - he must have travelled 3 or 4 miles over the mountain. Don't give up hope - ask everyone you see if they've seen him and spread your posters far and wide - dogs can obviously travel much futher than we think they can. I really really hope you find Sabre - I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for him when I'm out with my dogs. Sarah

- Hi, I’m sorry to hear Sabre is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
