All of this sounds very positive. Lets hope the scenting keeps her in the Dolton area where everybody is aware that she is missing. You are doing all the right things and it should all bring the right result soon. Come on Lupin, you have been out long enough now.

Got a call last night from a farmhouse near Dolton where they had heard a bark like a terrier but did not see the dog as it was on the other side of a thick hedge. We went out this morning and put down hoover dust etc. But did not see her. Later we got a call from the someone about a sighting in woods near Dolton (It was quite a way from the farmhouse so it couldn't be the same animal.) Well we have walked the woods and put down hoover dust etc. however it might have been a local dog who is often out on his own. (His colouring is different though).

This is such good news, Dolton is only 5 miles north from where Lupin went missing.. I will send an email with scenting instructions in the hope that she is still in that area.

There was a possible sighting in Dolton on tuesday. Several people saw a jack russell like Lupin. We went and looked and talked to people there, but no sign of her since. The jack russell could have been Lupin but could just have been a different dog on the loose. We have postered around Dolton and Beaford, and surrounding farms.

Contacted Lupin's owner today, they are following up possible sighting at a dissused airfield. Lupin is 14 years old and does not go off hunting on her own. Owners have done all the right things, local newspapers and radio have been informed, emails sent to vets and dogwardens.
