- Thanks Reynard for letting me know that Samson was both chipped and tagged. It begs the question, why did the finders wait until they saw the posters to call Samson's owners! I suppose, as usual, its a case of the extensive postering (well done owners, DL helpers and loca residents) simply making this lovely lad too hot to handle. But thank goodness that Samson is back home with his family and his regular routines (they are such sticklers for their little routines!). Keep safe gorgeous Samson!

- I'm so pleased to hear that this handsome Rottie boy is back home - thanks Titania777 for letting us know the good news (also lovely to see you posting on Samson's page!). Owners, could this precious boy have a nice new shiny tag on his collar as a welcome home present as having one can often save hours/days of anguish.Last edited: 2010-07-09 16:53:52 by Millys Mum

- GOOD NEWS & PLEASE MOVE TO REUNITED. I've just heard from the Rott Rescue that Samson has been found safe and well! Someone took him in on Monday and only saw a poster today. Thankfully Samson wasn't out on his own in this hot weather. He is chipped but not everyone realises that when you find a dog you should report as found and then get the dog scanned. We still need to keep spreading the word.

- Spoken to the rescue in Biscester where Samsom came from seems Samsom just wondered off from home, there has been NO sightings. Owner is out looking every day, Highworth is betwen Swindon Wilts & Cirencester Glos and as Samson is a very friendly boy it is possible he has been pick up, if anyone can help and poster either side of Highworth that would be great Thanks. Will get more info when we can get hold of Samson's current owner which will be tomorrow hopefully.Last edited: 2010-07-08 21:15:09 by Reynard

- Hi, I’m sorry to hear Samson is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
