- hello all, zosia was found at the M4 reading services by the dog wardens. she was terrified and very vary dirty and smelly when returned. i don't really know much about the circumstances of her being caught as i was at work and unable to talk for with the dog wardens. she was identified by the microchip. she has slept for 2.5 hrs after returning home and is now very well. she has red tummy and sore paws but is otherwise unhurt. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF YOU WHO SUPPORTED ME DURING THIS TIME AS I STARTED TO LOSE FAITH IN EVER FINDING HER. IT WAS YOUR ADVICE THAT KEPT US GOING, AS BEING GIVEN IDEAS OF WHAT TO DO MEANT THAT I WASN'T JUST SITTING AT HOME WORRYING BUT FELT LIKE I WAS DOING ALL I COULD. Zosia was found on the ninth day and we are so so happy. once again big thank you to you all. I was asked to put a picture on the site but can't download any from my phone. GOOD LUCK TO ANYONE ELSE LOOKING FOR THEIR LOST DOG, if i can be of any help please contact me. Lots of love, natasza

- Hi Natasza, I've postered today as promised + also handed one into the Tilehurst Vets(nr Armour Rd) I saw your poster at Theale Railway Station - I also put one on the fencing by the ticket machine. I've been in contact with a professional Dog Walker who is going to look out for Zosia and also she will let her friend know as she walks her dogs in Theale so the word is spreading.. Hopefully some other DogLost volunteers will come on board & assist you with postering etc. I can't believe the likeness to my Beagle Rosie they almost look as if they are related. I Soooo hope she is home very soon

- Hi Zosia's mum - we spoke earlier today and as promised I will put up posters in & around Sulham Woods and will also hand in posters at Valley Vets in Pangbourne, Spencers Wood and Tutts Clump. If you could post on here if there are any more sightings, that would be a great help. Did Zosia have a collar & ID on at the time she went missing? You may need to also contact the Newbury Dog Warden as well as the Reading Dog Warden. It is a good idea to also put her on to the National Missing Pet Register. Have you thought about adding a reward on to the posters as this might help in her recovery - you don't have to state how much. Theale Railway Station is very close to the Fishing Lakes so perhaps you could put a Poster up there, infact if possible put up as many posters in the surrounding areas as you can as Poster power really does work! Contact Network Rail and the Highway Authorities so they can be on the look out for her. If I can be of any further help just let me know. Hopefully it won't be long before she is back home with you.

- Hi , I’m sorry to hear Zosia is missing. Someone will try and make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days, so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog & give them a poster. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
