- Copied from 24166 now deleted along with the info i put on- have already made contact and have a photo just need it converting to jpeg. Bodie is Black with a white blaze down his chest. Will send owner a copy of his new ID as the link she has now does not work. 2010-07-15 13:33:20 ESSJ - Area Co-ordinator Bedfordshire have sent advice and information and asked for more info and confirmation of type of spaniel- either springer/working cocker or field spaniel.2010-07-15 13:12:29 ESSJ - Area Co-ordinator Bedfordshire Owners believe Bodie was taken from the car park up at the Cow Green Reservoir on the 18th of June in the afternoon-within 20 mins of arriving Bodie was gone. He is not the type of dog to stray from his owners in any way-Bodie is a farm dog and is never locked up or or on a lead as he has never needed one. If he is locked up or left alone he will be very distressed because he has never been left alone (only for very short periods of time)and he has a heart condition. He is constantly with owner whether working on the farm or in the house. Have a photo which needs converting to jpeg so i can upload to site,

- Hi, I’m sorry to hear Bodie is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
