- Thanks Jayne. Owners still waiting for a call back from the Police and have another possible lead they are also following up. They are doing a great job of spreading the word and are going to continue postering today so hopefully that'll bring Ellie back home VERY soon!

- We have still failed to make nay contact with the man who reported finding the 'young ridgebck' on Thursday. But we now have a second lead - someone called the Visitor Centre at the Park yesterday saying they had found a rusty doberman. Again we have a name and mobile - we haven't gottn through yet but at leat this number is ringing.

- Sorry me again - the person who spoke with the dog wardens office who may have her but is not taking calls, has referred to being in Epping area. So Jayne at Head Office if you could forward to helpers in Epping, Harlow, Bishops Stortford area you never know some one might have seen her. She will chew any thing plastic - especially plant pots, bath plugs etc and will dig if left - hopefully her destructive streak may mean that who ever has her isn't so keen to keep hold of her!

- Hi I'm the owner of Ellie. Thank you to all who are doing every thing they can to help especially wickedweims for getting onto the Police to take this seriously - we await their call. Juts wanted to add additional ID info for Ellie. She has had her dew claws removed so has associated scars, but also the dew claws were not cut back far and if you get close enough to handle her, the remains of that nail joint are very close under the skin - more so than any other dog I've had. She also doesn't have the full set of nipples - they are uneven with an odd number on one side and even number on the other so they don't line up in pairs.

- Ellie is an Hungarian Vizla but owner thinks people not familiar with the breed may think she is a Ridgeback. There has been a possible lead through the dog warden but the person who reported finding a dog is not answering calls and has not left an address.

- Hi, I’m sorry to hear Ellie is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
