So glad he is home - would be great if they now had him microchipped, in case he wanders again.

Frank has been reunited with his Family today. (It was the same dog I knew it was him!) Dog Warden appears to have only just put details on the system today, so his owners was unaware we had him. He was so pleased to see his Mum!

Hi, if its same dog as last year chances are he is registered locally. Worth a try. Owner should be looking for this dog. Possibly a holiday maker or someone away and dog got out. Dog wardens just keep records they do not inform anyone else. Phone me if you need to ask anything you have my number already.
HBP
As we are close to Devon border phoned some of the Devon dog wardens to report him found today. Still no luck in tracing his owner. Do these details automatically get sent to local vets or should I do that? If he is the same BT that we found last year, he was with a labrador and it may be possible for a vet to trace his owners?
HBP
Just back from having him scanned - he isnt chipped.

This chap is here with us, has been reported to dog warden, and to local pubs, kennels, and via NHW.We found a BT and labrador on the road outside our house last year, it could be a coincidence but it could be the same chap. Am going to take him to a vet to see if he is chipped today will update then. He isnt tattooed.
