Millys Mum
What great news and what a lovely man who had cared for him in the meantime. As he sounds such a lovely caring person, perhaps he would consider giving a home to another American Bulldog or similar large breed. As has already been mentioned, I presume that Gucci will be receiving a chip AND a ID tag on his collar as a welcome home present. I'm so happy for Gucci's family who can now enjoy a lovely weekend all together again!!!

So happy for Gucci and owners to now be reunited. x

Really great news - I have just had a call from Gucci's very excited owners - the advert that they placed in the local paper has brought results - they had a call from a gentleman who said that he thought he had Gucci - they went to see and it was him, the gent had bought Gucci for £100 - he would not take any money from Gucci's owners and had looked after him beautifully. Gucci was over the moon to see his Mum and Dad again. BIG BIG thanks to the gentleman for making that call and getting GUCCI home Last edited: 2010-08-06 15:59:07 by Angus

Gucci is going to be in the paper today.

Hope the dog is reunited safely soon.

They should be telling the police that they want to speak to a senior officer, or they will be taking down their numbers so they can lodge a formal complaint with the Police Complaints Authority.

So far the police has been less than helpful to the owners - I have advised that they go and make a nuisance of them selves at the local police station and to mention to them that Dogs are classed as possesions or chattles and that the robbery they have suffered must be taken seriously, owners are postering and then will try again with the police
Phoenix57
Police should be contacted immediately anyway, if they haven't been already, to report him stolen and to obtain a crime number.

The police should be called if this man is in possession of stolen property (which is how stolen dogs are classed by the police) and is being threatening.
DogLostAngus
Gucci was stolen from the garden of his home on Hawrich Road (hope that is correct) - he was seen being walked by a man in Wigmore park, this man was approached and was menacing. Please do not approach this man if you see him but observe movements and time and report to owners or via email to admin@doglost.co.uk qouting 24311

I got the email, so will print posters out and post them soon. Hope he's found soon. Do we know how he got out or anything?
