Hi Tammy, Apologies for the delayed response but I've been away for a few days. However, before I went I forwarded the poster to a few friends around this area and took a few different routes home to see if we could see Max. We're all looking out for him. Have you put posters up at the canal car park and all major road junctions as this could really help? Jo

Stay safe. I have also posted details on website ~~~~~ http://lostandfoundbordercollies.weebly.com/lost-collies.html

Hi, sorry to hear Max has gone missing. I live just up the road in Burton so will keep a look out and spread the word to my local friends. We lost our border collie earlier this year but delighted to say we found her through the poster method as recommended by Angus above. I put them up at major road junctions, community notice boards, post offices, newsagents, pubs, vets etc....its amazing how quickly word spreads. Fingers crossed you find him very quickly. All the best, Jo

Very sorry to hear Max is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help IN THE MEANTIME, Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! WE CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
