- There has been an injured dog handed in as a stray at Leigh cats and dogs home in the north west but the resemblance to the brindle female is uncanny!

- Have tracked down the found dog 46331-she is with a dog rescue in Brecon.
Sadly she is not a match for this missing whippet, as she is a very young dog, possibly not even a year old.
Thank you everyone.

- The found dog 46331 looks so similar but it does say it seems to be young, maybe only a year old so if this dog was lost two years ago and was an adult, sadly that wouldn't match. Dog 46331 also seems to have a small pink pigment on it's nose which this one doesn't,few minor markings that don't look exact but it would be nice to confirm if this is or isn't the same dog. - Hi, I’m sorry to hear your pet is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
