Cross Posted from Sully's: - Kym said that it would be best if people didn't go down there and chase the dane about, the dog is very nervous of new people and there is no chance of a stranger getting near her, it is also unlikely she will come out to another dog. When the dane escaped from the rescue it was chased and ran across 6 lanes of the M25, it ran off into bushes and woods around the golf course but they couldn't catch her, Kym is worried the dog might run back if it is too scared by people. Kym did not know that anyone had been feeding the dane, What is needed is for the lady who has been feeding her ( Julie with the rotties ) to contact Kym and let her know where about's the dane is being fed, so that the rescue can get people the dog knows there to try to catch her, Kym currently has no idea where to look. Any info needs to be given direct to Kym, Kim was told at one point on a forum that someone had the dane trapped, but can't find anything else out about it. If anyone could get Julie to phone Kim that would be fab Any info please phone Kym on 07886 620009 Last edited: 2010-08-02 18:01:54 by sharynd

Thank you so much for your help Sharynd. I have called the lady who has been feeding this dog and left a message on her answerphone asking her to contact Kym. I know she intended to go back tonight and put down some more food and water near the den.

I spoke to Kym at the rescue, the dane was one of their dogs and she escaped 8 days ago. They have been looking for her, have been to the golf course repeatedly including today trying to find her but she still has not been found, she is extremely nervous and won't let anyone near to her. Kyms number is 07886 620009, if anyone can help her please give her a call. She was told ( fourth hand ) that the dog had been cornered and was locked in a shed, although she can not find out where it is or who has found her, if anyone has any info please ring her. Sully

Dog sighted again this morning. Message from Debbie ---- Went this morning and the dog had ran off again as a woman saw it when she was walking her dogs and it got frightened. I will go back this evening. I hope you hear from anyone who has lost a Dane as it is near the M25 and I don't want it to go near there. Have told the people in the golf course and they will look out for anyone asking about it and tell them where it is. -

Will e mail.
