- It looked like Jake may have been muddy in the pic above - there is a 4 year old black and white centre at the rescue centre in Horsham. The link is below and well worth a look. http://www.holbrookanimalrescue.co.uk/page22a.html I hope that you find your gorgeous boy soon. Julie x

- I am a dog walker in Horsham and I have had been on the lookout for this dog, especially in St Leonards Forest (saw poster at car park) where i walk regularly. I will continue to keep a look out on my walks and I will be putting a poster at Leechpool/Owlbeech woods today. I hope he gets home safe and soon.

- It would be a good idea to put an advert in the local West Sussex County Times newspaper. If this could be done by Tuesday 5pm it would appear in this Thursdays edition. That would get more people aware of the fact that Jake is missing. I really hope that Jake is found very soon and that until then he keeps himself safe. Julie x

- I live in Horsham. I have a blue belton English Setter. On Saturday afternoon my setter and her labrador chum disappeared off the side of the main track up into St Leonards Forest from the Roosthole car park. I walked on for a bit then I whistled for them. Way back down the track I saw what I thought was my setter come out of the undergrowth and head off down the path away from me. I thought "typical dozy setter" and whistled very hard again whereupon my own setter and labrador came out of the wood not far back from me and ran up to me. It could have been a deer I saw first time I whistled but I really did think it was my setter and whistled hard and started to move back down the path towards the animal. I wonder if this could have been Jake. I did go back and walk quietly through the woods on Sunday but didnt see or hear any movement which I couldnt identify. It might be worth the owners spending sometime in St Leonards Forest (there is a poster for Jake by the car park). Regrettably I work long hours and cannot help out in the search this week nor this weekend. I hope Jake is found soon, the thought of losing a setter is unbearable to me.
