- Thanks Angelita for the update and alert, yes great news BLADE is HOME. I spoke to his owner very late last night (22.30 p.m.) and they were out looking for him, spoken again to them this morning……………. Approx 12.00 a.m. they asked a man walking a dog if he had seen Blade and he told them a friend had bought a boxer the day before also called Blade!!!! They met up with the people at approx 1.00 a.m. who said they had bought him from two lads for £150.00. Family have worked so hard and it has paid off. Discussed getting him CHIPPED, TATTOOED and NEUTERED which they are going to get done a.s.a.p. Family would like to pass on their thanks to everyone who has helped and are going to stay on DL as helpers. Have great pleasure in moving Blade into the BLUE and alerting everyone to the great news. Welcome home Blade lots of hugs and kisses from everyone on DL. Jan x

- Various size posters emailed earlier to family. Over 350 emails sent out to DW's, Rescues, RSPCA's and DL helpers in the NW areas and NW Co'ordinator's Goldenfrodo, RileysMum. Hope the posters help in the search for Blade and we see him in the blue soon. Good luck. Jan x

- Just had a message from Boxer Rescue to say "posters are being put up now, the owners are out atm, they have found his collar on a field behind Hillside School, looks like they are heading towards Bootle to try to sell him" Boxer Rescue are walking one of their dogs in case they see them with a boxer and may try to sell him. Is there anyone in that area familiar with any pubs that could help? He is very distinctive looking so should be easy to recognise.Last edited: 2010-08-02 18:48:25 by Angelita

- This is dreadful, its worth trying Radio City they may give you some coverage, flood the area with posters, i hope the police are taking the incident seriously, I am sure Blade will be home with his family very soon. x

- Liverpool Echo and Daily Post r pretty good at detailing stolen dogs. Also try the papers in surrounding areas. I will put a poster in Southport Visiter and on Sefton MBC Website

- Spoken to owner and given advice, also emailed more detailed info/advice. Will do various size posters later this evening when I get home. Family have only had Blade for four weeks and he belongs to a younger family member. The Liverpool Echo have been contacted. He needs to be made too hot to handle. Fingers crossed he is back home soon. Jan x
