becky, thanks for the lovely updates. So pleased you have got Buster and Rob back. All the hard work has paid off and everything you have said is so right. Great you are staying on DL has a helper, who better to give advice than someone who has been there. Many of us on DL have been and some still are in the sad situation of losing their dog. Well done and thank you to everyone who helped spread and the word and also to Many Tears who are a brilliant rescue, I was looking on Thursday night through all the lovely dogs they have for rehoming. Hugs and kisses to Buster and Rob, welcome home boys. Jan x

hello everybody, fantastic to have our boys back, thankyouto everyone at doglost you all have been brilliant i didnt think for 1 minute we would ever find them, there home safe and sound just been out with there dad and are curled up fast asleep and have had there 1st cuppa in just over a week, buster is very subdued and quiet like hes been to the kennels for his holidays and very sleepy rob is like a bottle of pop, chasing morgan all over the field and is very happy 2 have his ball back again, robs mouth looks ok but going take both 2 the vets 2mz just to makesure. if anyone sees this and is tempted to take any ones dogs think very hard and check first we have been going out of our minds with worry morgan has been heartbroken the lose was unbearable notknowing what had happened to them, for the dogs they havnt eaten or slept by the looks of them and nearly turned inside out when they saw us so please think twice.the police are still looking for information and have said they wont give up not only was it theft of 2 healthy dogs who were clearly looked after it is cruelty to the owners and very distressing to the dogs.

I am so pleased to see that they are safe, I thought it would be a very long shot that they had made their way to Dorset but without checking out you never know. Good job they don't have to travel right down here to pick them up.
BC
which rescue in Carmarthen did they end up???
BC
Welcome home boys, so glad these two are safe and well, xx

Welcome home boys! There is no way these dogs got to carmarthan on their own! They had been shaved to disguise them and were handed in by a young girl on Monday who reported that they had been mistreated... Police say they will get to the bottom of this as they think it was a callous thing to do. Rescue said they were due to be re homed today... Lucky dogs!

Heard from owner earlier who was having a problem getting photos to us but I see they are now on here. Are there any helpers in the area who could help with postering please? Thanks.
BC
I have just been contacted by Becky's mum. It is important that everyone is aware that the dogs were stolen from the back garden on Thursday between 9am and 3.30, the kennel doors had been kicked in, and the older dogs collar was found in the garden. The owner would appreciate any help, they have done everything suggested by Sable, but would love some more assistance.
Goldenfrodo
Will contact and also request photo. Hope these two are found very soon.

Hi, I’m sorry to hear Buster and Rob are missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
becky
buster and rob are both old dogs rob needs special treatment as had an operation on his mouth and the treatment is on going, buster is completely deaf and is going blind please ring with any information however small my little boy is missing them dreadfully as we all are.
