- I have been out searching for Holly all morning. After about 2 hours of searching in Weelsby woods I got a call from Michelle to say a gentleman had seen Holly at Scartho Top. The lovely man drove over to Ladysmith, picked up Michelle and drove her over to Scartho Top. Michelle called Holly and luckily she was still in the area. She recognised Michelles voice and ran straight to her. She is tired and dirty but otherwise OK. Well done Michelle all the effort you put in paid off. Take care good care of little Holly until your dad gets back from Spain. Thanks for the photo Michelle you both look very happy to see each other.Last edited: 2010-08-07 15:01:40 by AlisonH

- Dogs on the run tend to move in a triangular pattern. She has gone from Tollbar to Ladysmith Road so could be heading for Humberston or Scartho. will keep on searching. Don't despair Michelle we will track her down.

- Just returned from Ladysmith - spent 30 mins driving up and down road continuously with no sighting. Spoke to 5 lots of dog walkers, none have spoted her. One chap said he had been fixing his bike all day in his front drive and would have seen a loose dog? Did person who saw her try to catch her? If so, did she run away and if so, in what direction? Very built up round there, unlikely a dog could hide without being spotted for long. Been round all adjoining roads as well. Also round Tollbar area on way back. Quite a way from Ladysmith Road? Friends didn't spot in the woods tonight either, Sorry.

- Have just got back in from putting up posters in Waltham, Holton-le-Clay, garage at Tollbar, College at Tollbar, local stables and dog walking routes around Tollbar. Seems like she has moved on from there now but lots of people in transit will see posters. Can't do Ladysmith tonight but will go over tomorrow if needed.

- This is my parents dog, we live in newcastle, Nort East. Holly was staying at our relatives in Grimsby when she went missing on Wdnesday 4th August at 7pm from Weelsby Woods, Grimsby. She ran off from Weelsby Woods down Hainton Avenue and was last spotted near Tollbar School/College near New Waltham, North East Lincolnshire. This area is very rural and she may have ran into another direction, perhpas Louth? Holly is not familar with this area. I have contacted the local vets in the surrounding areas. Holly is a young dog, 2 years old, she is wearing a tan leather collar with a silver disc on with her name and our local home phone number. She is micro chipped. She has recently had a skin infection so you may notice some bald patches of hair underneath where her stomach is. She is a nervous dog, although very playful at times. I am travelling from Newcastle tonight to look for her tomorrow, if anyone could be so kind to distribute any poster that would be most helpful. Kindest Regards Michelle 07867 558931Last edited: 2010-08-06 12:43:27 by Michelle

- Hi, I’m sorry to hear Holly is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description
