A female Newfoundland found in Wales yesterday, white patch between legs and plain black fabric collar, on animalsearch website, wandered into someones garden at 5.30pm, they have knocked on doors but no-one knows of owners. Have moved Indi from Rainbow Bridge until we get more details. Have now updated Jojo's page which covers both dogs. Until we get confirmation that is was Indi the search will go on for BOTH of them. Jan x

I've spoken to the emergency vet's who cover Manchester and they have not had any reports, they said the Police would contact them to collect any fatal RTA's. Holding off emailing out across the NW until we get more news. Fingers crossed both JoJo and Indi are o.k. and found soon. Jan x

We are not 100% sure that Indi has been involved in an RTA, unfortunately we have still not managed to speak to their owner. Last message from helper who has set up JoJo and Indi's FB page..... I have a STRONG feeling that whoever phoned their owner is trying to put us off the scent! I phoned that actual number and its now a dead number! someone from greater manchester police dog section has also offered to help!

Dogs owners should descend on Downing street and demand changes in the law, stiffer sentences for the scum that hurt these beautiful souls.

Just received the most awful news (edited message): Bad news Jan! absolutley devastated. Indie was found this morning in Manchester (an hour and half away) she was laying in the middle of the road, looks like she had been run over. She still had her collar and name tag on but also had been tied up with rope which looks like she had snapped away from. I need to find jojo. R.I.P Indie I miss you so much xxx Please keep looking for Jojo
