- Hi All, Nellie is doing well and being spoilt, and now has her collar on at all times and is having a nice new shiny one this weekend. We offered a small reward to the people who had Nellie and split the rest of the £150 between Doglost and Battersea (where she originally came from) Thank you once again for all your support

- FANTASTIC - what a great day it was for Nellie's owners yesterday and Nellie was being cared for too, so that is just great news. I am SO glad that she is home. I had just contacted owner not that long ago telling them not to give up, as many dogs are found a long time after they go missing. Welcome home GORGEOUS GIRL. xxxxx

- What wonderful news - I'm so pleased to hear that Nellie is back home safe and sound. I have to say that she is absolutely gorgeous and what a lovely photo! Also a huge thank you to DOGWALKER46, tobyjugs mum & Scarlet for all your help and support. Could this very precious girl have a nice new shiny ID tag on her collar to compliment her chip? Welcome home Nellie and make the most of all the extra fuss and TLC.

- Oh my god, the news we have been waiting for, had a call today and we were reunited. A family 7 doors way ( a friend too!) had taken her in and another family member had taken her away, Someone had seen her ad in the gazette (it pays to advertise if you can) and called round to say they thought it was our dog. A great positive story and a huge thank you to Sandra (dogwalker) if it weren't for you guys on here, I dont know how we would have got through it or carried on, logging on everyday kept the hope alive and kept me going. I am going to tell the people who had her once I have calmed down, I would rather give the reward money to this charity, however I promise I will poster in my areas to help any one who has lost a friend.... thank you everyone... Nat :)

- PLease dont apologise for the questions, you have been a great help. She was las seen heading down Falling Lane, I can only assume towards Cowley, Trout Road or West Drayton. Thanks

- Dear Nat,thanks for replying.I put the poster in Petstop yesterday.I wonder if Pets at Home next door to Argos, off the high street have a noticeboard.I am trying to think of other possibilities. Also i have seen posters now and then on the lampost next to the pedestrian crossing opposite Morrisons..the last one that had been there for months is now gone.and is always a popular place. The Baptist church at the bottom of Fairfield has a big new notice board and community hall.Would you please be able to tell me what direction she was last seen heading for,as she had no collar, was she wearing a harness when being walked,or did she vanish from a garden?I am just trying to get a picture so i know which way to look,so sorry for the questions.

- Hi DOGWALKER 46, thank you so much for your help. There are handwirtten posters around as they were the ones we first put up, then I created personal ones with pictures, then the doglost ones, I put one on Yiewsley library, I posted through the letter box at W/D library as they were closed so thank you for doing that, I didnt think of the pet store. Nellie was not wearing a collar as it irritates her neck, she is chipped though, be verty helpful if you could take one down there. Thank you. I had a call from Network Rail and there were no reported incidents on the rail line which is good news and I still wait to hear from the council cleaning team, not a nice wait. My eyes are peeled everywhere we go and hope we will be on the reunited page soon.

- Hello again, this is a ps from previous message;having put the poster in PetStop i tried West Drayton Library,as there was already a poster in Yiewsley. They said they would have to forward on the notice to the main Library at Uxbridge for permisson and then it could take two to three weeks.as only council and community notices are allowed.I kept explaining that there was already one in Yiewsley, put there either by a volunteer or owner,so i assumed it would be ok at West Drayton. After some length of time they relented and said that they would put it up if there is space, and only for about two weeks,so i hope this is done,as at this time of year the library was packed with children and family doing different things and on computers,so many people should see it.I hope that Nellie is found soon,i look out for her everywhere i go.Last edited: 2010-08-13 18:23:43 by Pearl46

- Hello again.I visited Petstop, the pet accessories and food shop in Fairfield rd,opp Tesco today, and saw there was no poster on the noticeboard. The lady in the shop said it is free for lost pets to advertise.I can take the poster with the pic on down there, unless you want to use the handwritten ones that you have up with your landline number.also can you please confirm if Nellie was wearing a collar and name/address tag at the time. Many thanks.

- Hi,I saw a small brindle Staffy on Saturday walking on its own down Appletree Ave on left hand side of road near the mini roundabout before the Appletree one,and seemed to be on its own,as i was driving i thought no more till i saw this notification. It was heading for Falling lane,i wondered if you walk it in Stockley Park, where there are many dog walkers all day in and out of there, and if she might have gone somewhere familiar to her. Also worth asking the Park Ranger to look out for her if you have not already or other dog walkers,or in Yiewsley rec.Unfortunately posters are often taken down as the council frowns on posters,i will keep looking for you and see if i can think of any other place she might have travelled to.What about the Academy grounds...or asking at the library.

- Hi, I’m sorry to see Nellie is missing. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog, give them a poster and keep in touch with them every few days.. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description. I will send you more extensive advice by email.
