- I am sorry to say that there is no news of Milly yet.The police have issued a crime number for this theft. I am taking over some posters to Milly's owners later this afternoon and will also put some posters up in the area. Any local help would be gratefully accepted as Milly's owner has an extremely ill husband to care for and its almost impossible for her to venture very far from home. hoping we find this girl asap ~ Pam

- MILLY was STOLEN from kennels in Wombwell, Barnsley sometime after 7.20 pm on 11th August and whoever stole her shut all the gates after them. The police are involved and making enquiries. It has been reported that a youth had knocked at a property attached to the kennels earlier that day asking if he could access the land to search for his dog which he said he thought had wandered on there. We are trying to find out more information about this youth if only to eleminate him from the enquiries as he may have been genuinely searching for his dog. Owners have been advised to get as many posters out there as they can ASAP to make this little dog too hot to handle !!

- Hi, I’m really sorry to hear that Milly is missing. Someone will try to make personal contact with you as soon as possible, to offer advice and help. Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres. Give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars. You can find vets in your own area by clicking on the green logo which says “Find Any UK VET”, on the right hand side of the page under the “latest missing dogs” photo - top right. Please email admin@doglost.co.uk with a photo of your dog quoting the dog’s Doglost ID number, or upload a photo yourself on “update details” above. You can also add comments and update the dog’s status, e.g.sightings, re-united etc. by clicking on “add a comment” at the bottom of the page. If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and at the same time, check that all details held, are up to date. You can obtain a “MISSING” poster from "view poster" above. You can only print posters when you are signed in. Start postering now! I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS. If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be re-homed legally, after 7 days if it has no identification (microchip or ID disk attached), so please try to visit rescue centres, to look for your dog. Do not rely on checking by phone alone, as other people may not recognise your dog by your description.
