- There have been no sightings of Bella today but the weather has been foul and she has probably found some shelter and stayed put - hopefully away from the thunder storms . Owners have been leaving food and will be up at first light again to search - is there anyone local who can assist ?

- email from owner.--------------Thanks so much for the advice, i have a cardi with my sisters scent on it and was wearing that when we went looking for her, we put food down where she was eating by the collecge on wednesday, but we had no reports of sightings yesterday we are really worried that something has happened or she has gone further a field, we are going back this afternoon to put posters up as the new family wont do it, thanks again for your advice xx

- I really feel for you with everything that is going on for you, Bella will be spooked by all the changes in her life at the moment. Are you close enough to give new family some items of clothing that may still have your sisters scent on ? if so these can be plaved along with smelly food such as pilchards in the garden where she spent the night or at thye building site, these may encourage her to stay in one place. If anyone is approching her make themselves as small as possible, sit down or lie down even - whimper and talk gently to her without making full eye contact, keep her in your periphal vision and let her feel safe and come to you, rather than makiing a grab for her.Leave her food in a safe place at regular intervals so that she knows to come back for more. This may take a little patience but hopefully she will respond to the familiar smells.
