Apparently yes, he was running on the A127 on Friday (was even announced on Heart Essex). Owner Christine went into Katie's K9-Ashingdon Rd to put up a poster, they phoned me while she was there to get DogLost details. We told her to poster Gusted Hall, Edwards Hall Park, Hockley Woods, Ashingdon Memorial Park, Magnolia Park. I said DogLost would be able to offer more advice. I have text all my dog walking friends too.

How the heck did he get all that way?! Was it definitely him? I will text Christine (can't call at the mo as in work) coz that's really close to me so I/a friend may be able to get to the area if anymore sightings.

Hi Jo, he was seen at Rochford Railway Station. He is afraid of people and by the time his owner Christine had got there he had gone. If seen please contact Christine immediately on her mobile 07971 473110.Last edited: 2010-08-17 09:50:13 by lilylouise

Postcode amended. I was going to check this with owners as didn't think it'd be SS12. Thanks lilylouise. Where in Rochford was he sighted.....that's not far from me. Quite a way for him to have travelled. I know he was a rescue as remember his story in local press ages ago.....now that he has been rehomed do you know if he is nervous still. Any loose dog may well become scared anyway but just trying to get an idea of things. Will call owners later, was too later by time I was online last night!

Jayne - You have the wrong postcode on this...he went missing from the the vets in Rayleigh the POSTCODE is SS6. He was spotted in Rochford SS4 on Saturday. Please amend postcode to SS6 and email out. Thanks.

Neighbouring dog warden has said there has been a sighting near by today so fingers crossed this boy will be found soon. Will pass on useful info and spread the word. The vets is right close to the main London - Southend A road....stay safe boy and don't go near that road.Last edited: 2010-08-16 22:45:23 by Jo - Area Co-ordinator, Essex
